Game makers have made mobile gaming more complex over the last few years. Services like Xbox Cloud Gaming and GeForce Now allow you to play games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite and Apex Legends that can be difficult to tame on your mobile device. A gaming controller may be required when your phone or tablet has smaller screens than your TV.

If you already own an Nintendo Switch, you don't have to buy an additional gaming console from a third party. There are two Joy-Cons that are connected to your console. The most impressive thing is that the Joy-Cons are able to be paired with your iPhone or iPad in just two minutes.
This is only applicable if you have iOS 16, which is currently in an open beta. Here's how to download it now.
How to connect your Joy-Cons with your iPhone or iPad To start you'll need to ensure that your Joy-Cons are charged and ready to use. If not, simply attach them to the Nintendo Switch while it's charging in the dock. Once your Joy-Cons have been in good condition and ready for use remove them from your console and perform the following:
1. Press and hold the black pairing button at the top of the Joy-Con until you see a green light blinking between the two. This will put the Joy-Con in pairing mode.

2. Then, open Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone/iPad.
3. Scroll down to find your Joy-Con in Other Devices. You'll see either Joy-Con (L) or Joy-Con (R) according to the Joy-Con that you're currently pairing.
4. To pair it, simply tap the Joy-Con option. Repeat this procedure for the other Joy-Con in case you need to.

Once your Joy-Cons are paired with each other, you can launch any game that supports third-party controllers, such as Minecraft, Among Us and Call of Duty, and play with your newly paired Joy-Cons. Some mobile games do not accommodate both Joy-Con controllers simultaneously, so you might only have to pair one.
To disconnect the Joy-Cons go to Settings >Bluetooth, tap the blue icon for information, and then hit Disconnect.
